Mold Testing

At SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection, our first step in the investigation for mold growth in your home or workplace is a detailed mold inspection to identify possible mold growth.  When mold growth is suspected, air quality testing for mold or mold surface sampling is recommended.

Clearance Testing

Besides preliminary air quality testing to determine if mold is present, it is equally as important to retest after any mold remediation work is performed to remove the mold.

Bulk Sampling

Bulk sampling is a mold testing method that requires removing a piece of suspected mold contaminated material, such as mold contaminated carpet, wood, or sheetrock, and having it analyzed in a laboratory to determine the genus and species of mold that are present on the bulk sample.

Our technicians stay up to date with industry standards and best practices, by undergoing constant training and instruction. By completing programs such as The Council-Certified Microbial Consultant, our technicians lead the industry in inspection practices. A CMC is capable of investigating microbial issues in the indoor environment; a CMC provides mold testing and bioaeorosol sampling and interprets lab results to develop an effective remediation protocol. We called SafeAir to test and inspect a mold situation we were having at our condo complex that the landlord would not fix. Jeremy came out and inspected the mold problem and collected air samples. He gave us an extremely detailed report a few days later. His inspection and testing was very thorough and he fit us in very quickly. We needed a mold inspection and mold testing services at the last minute for a home we were in the process of purchasing. We called Jeremy at SafeAir and he scheduled the appointment the same day. Jeremy arrived a couple hours after I called and he was kind and honest. He inspected the finished basement after the builder removed mold and water damage that had occurred. He collected air samples and used the latest equipment such as thermal imaging and moisture meters to locate any moisture and mold that may have been left behind after the drying and mold removal was finished. He explained the entire mold inspection and mold testing process to us and had all the reports emailed to us a few days later. Jeremy truly cares about doing top quality mold inspection and mold testing work. I would definitely call him again if we need mold testing and inspection services.

I would give Jeremy at SafeAir 10 stars if possible! Jeremy is the most knowledgeable mold inspector I have spoken with and I have had several at my home trying to figure out a persistent mold infestation. He did a great job communicating the findings in an easy to understand report and he was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. He provided me with all the information I needed to complete the mold remediation myself, and that is what I did. I hired Jeremy again after the mold remediation was complete to collect air samples and inspect the areas I remediated. The mold infestation was gone in all of the mold contaminated areas thanks to Jeremy’s great advice. Thanks Jeremy for the excellent work!

I hired Jeremy with SafeAir to test and inspect for mold in our home we have been renting. We have had a mold issues that resulted from a flood that occurred several months prior. He was extremely knowledgeable about mold and very professional in dealing with these types of situations.
