Atlanta Mold Testing
Having been in the industry for many years the SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection Inc. team has identified the most common reasons in which someone would seek a certified mold inspector. We often work alongside home buyers and real estate agents to ensure that there are no preexisting mold issues that could potentially cost tens of thousands of dollars. Unexplained respiratory problems and illness are often associated with elevated spore counts in the home. Another common case our clients come to us with, is that they’ve noticed a musty or stale odor or they’ve discovered small colonies of mold in their homes or businesses. The basement is often times the most prone to mold growth. Due to the heavy rains that the Atlanta area has received this year we have had many clients procure our services after sustaining water damage. Whatever your reason may be, our certified inspectors will provide you with a complete inspection using the latest industry techniques and tools. Safe Air Certified Mold Inspection Inc. uses high end equipment such as thermal imaging cameras, which allow us to detect the temperature variations that are often associated with moisture without damaging your walls and floors. Our team prides ourselves on providing our clients with the information needed to not only determine whether or not a mold problem does in fact exist, but also the information needed to help ensure that any problems do not reoccur.
After leaving your property our inspectors send the samples off to a certified laboratory to perform an analysis. Once the SafeAir team receives the lab results, we will be able to determine whether or not your property needs professional mold remediation. In those cases in which a problem is found, our inspectors will create a detailed protocol for removal. This report includes an identification of the mold source and a guide that the remediation company of your choice can follow. (Remember we do not perform mold remediation as it is a conflict of interest) SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection Inc.’s reports help you minimize the overall cost of remediation due to the fact that the mold source has been identified and helps you ensure that the job is performed properly the first time.
Free Mold Testing In Atlanta
If you already know that your property does in fact have elevated spore counts and have undergone mold remediation. It is highly recommended that you hire an impartial third party such as SafeAir Certified Mold Inspection Inc. to perform the post remediation clearance testing. While this testing is not free, it could potentially save you thousands. Air samples will play a vital role in determining whether or not the job was completed successfully and if the problem was truly addressed. If for whatever reason your property does not pass the clearance test, our inspectors will provide you and the remediation company with a detailed report outlining what additional repairs and steps need to be taken. In most cases, your remediation company will cover the cost for the second clearance testing.
