SafeAir’s visual inspection procedures are completed with each mold inspection to identify visible mold and unusual moisture conditions, that are visible to the human eye, on the surface of indoor building materials for indoor location(s) that are readily available to be inspected by visual observation. If an environmental sample indicates a source of hidden mold growth, we may need to schedule an appointment for additional inspection and testing to identify sources of indoor mold growth that are not readily apparent the the human eye during the initial site visit.
SafeAir does not move furniture, rugs, appliances, surface coverings such as baseboards, sheetrock, etc., or look in cabinets / drawers during the visual inspection process on the initial visit unless it is specified by the client. If an environmental sample indicates a source of indoor mold growth, we may need to schedule additional inspection and testing services at an additional fee.
SafeAir’s visual inspection process and opinion, regarding mold contaminants, is limited to indoor location(s) where environmental samples were collected only. No opinion is given by SafeAir regarding mold or unusual moisture conditions for locations where environmental samples were not collected, or surfaces and locations that are hidden from view, during the visual inspection unless specified by the client.
